_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the basketball equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawks’ individual performances from top to bottom, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch and who has seen better days. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel._**1. Brandon Rush**: Easily did the best job of all the defenders who attempted to guard Kevin Durant. Rush blocked three shots, including A.J. Abrams’ potential game-tying three-pointer in the final minute of overtime. Rush got hot during the comeback from a 22-point deficit and finished the game with 19 points. He hit four three-point shots.**2. Julian Wright**: Had 19 points and eight rebounds and joined Rush on the all-tournament team.**3. Sherron Collins**: Got a little wild late in regulation, but that didn’t negate the fact he pushed the pace at both ends and was instrumental in the comeback.**4. Mario Chalmers**: Hit the biggest shot of the day, a three-pointer with 15 seconds left in regulation. It stood up as the game-tying shot, forcing the overtime.**5. Darnell Jackson**: D.J. Augustin figured it would be easier to drive to the hoop than get off a three-pointer when Texas trailed by three points. He figured wrong, because Jackson grabbed his driving shot out of the air with his right hand, cupped it, and was fouled with 10 seconds left. He hit both free throws to make it 6-for-6 for the game. With Wright forced to the bench for a bit because of foul trouble and Arthur injured, Kansas needed a big game from Jackson and got one. He had seven rebounds and two blocked shots in 26 minutes.**6. Russell Robinson**: Made three of four free throws, including both to seal the outcome with five seconds left.**7. Sasha Kaun**: When the pace is as fast as it is when playing a team such as Texas, Kaun’s chances of contributing and playing big minutes decrease.**8. Darrell Arthur**: Injury in the groin area limited him to 12 minutes.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (total points and average rank)** **1.** Julian Wright (115, 34 games) 3.38 **2.** Brandon Rush (119, 34 games) 3.50 (**_Jumps Chalmers for 2nd_**) **3.** Mario Chalmers (120, 34 games) 3.53 **4.** Sherron Collins (148, 34 games) 4.35 **5.** Russell Robinson (154, 33 games) 4.67 **6.** Darrell Arthur (167, 34 games) 4.91 **7.** Sasha Kaun (173, 30 games) 5.77 **8.** Darnell Jackson (206, 34 games) 6.06 **9.** Rodrick Stewart (239, 26 games) 9.19 **10.** Jeremy Case (161, 17 games) 9.47 **11.** Brady Morningstar (134, 14 games) 9.57 **12.** Matt Kleinmann (165, 15 games) 11.00 **13.** Brennan Bechard (136, 11 games) 12.36 **14.** Brad Witherspoon (119, 9 games) 13.22
