Sophomore Sera Tadokoro moved up 26 spots on the leaderboard to emerge as Kansas’ leader after two days of play at the Clemson Invite, sitting in a tie for 46th.
Tadokoro carded three birdies on her way to firing her fourth under par round of the year, shooting an 1-under 71 for a two-day 2-over 146. Kansas ultimately posted an 11-over 299 and carded nine birdies as a team in the second round but still sits in a tie for 18th place. After two rounds, the team is shooting 26-over 602, 47 strokes out of the lead behind leader Vanderbilt (-11).
Freshman Pear Pooratanaopa recorded another another 75 (+3) in the second round, for a two-day total of 6-over 150. She currently is in a tie for 69th place. Senior Chomchana Phuchanbanchob recorded a pair of birdies in the second round but couldn’t move up the leaderboard, shooting a second round 4-over 76 for a two-day 8-over 152.
The final round at the Reserve at Lake Keowe begins at 8:09 a.m. Tuesday.
