TCU blanks KU baseball, 6-0

Brian Howard pitched a four-hit shutout, and TCU defeated Kansas, 6-0, to knock the Jayhawks out of the Big 12 baseball tournament Friday night in Oklahoma City.

TCU jumped an early lead with a four-run first inning and added two more runs in the fourth.

KU starter Sean Rackoski lasted just one-third of an inning, allowing four runs, three earned.

The Jayhawks dropped to 30-28. TCU (41-15) will meet Texas at 12:30 p.m. today.
