Eugene, Ore. ? Former Kansas University athlete Andrea Geubelle was fifth in the women’s triple jump preliminaries Monday at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. Geubelle recorded a mark of 45-5 to advance to Thursday’s finals. Meanwhile, ex-Jayhawk Jordan Scott was eighth in the men’s pole vault finals with a leap of 18-0.
