Two Kansas University tennis players will compete today for singles championships.
Freshman Janet Koch will play for the B Flight title at the Little Rock Invitational in Little Rock, Arkansas, and freshman Nina Khmelnitckaia will play for the Boomer Draw crown at the Oklahoma Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma.
Koch’s 6-3, 6-2, victory over Nicole Breax of Arkansas put her into today’s title match against Oklahoma State’s Kelsey Laurente.
Khmelnitckaia defeated North Texas’ Anastasiya Shestakova, 6-3, 0-6, 6-2, and will meet Texas Tech’s Alex Valenstein.
