By Staff Reports     Nov 20, 2015

Following five top-five finishes during the fall season, including two tournament victories and an individual title for senior Ben Welle, the Kansas men’s golf team made appearances in two national polls, ranking in the top-50 of each.

In the latest Golfweek.com standings, the Jayhawks sit at No. 41, one of six Big 12 teams to be featured in that poll.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings are: Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Baylor.

The same conference teams are ranked in the Golfstat.com polls, with KU at No. 46.

“The fall season was very productive in a lot of ways,” KU fourth-year head coach Jamie Bermel said.
