According to ESPNBoston.com’s Mike Reiss, former Kansas University tight end Jimmay Mundine was one of three undrafted rookies to sign with the New England Patriots on Thursday. Details of the contract were not disclosed.

Mundine, who initially signed with Cleveland, was one of 12 members of the 2014 KU football team to either get drafted or receive a free agent contract from an NFL team following the April draft.

In addition to Mundine, former KU wideouts Nick Harwell (Dallas) and Nigel King (Miami) in recent weeks also signed free agent deals with the NFL clubs that picked them up after the draft.
