Big 12 honors KU baseball’s Hernandez

Kansas University third baseman Aaron Hernandez was named the co-Big 12 Baseball Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Hernandez, a junior transfer, recorded five hits and five RBIs in 12 at-bats during three KU victories over BYU.
