KU men’s golf finishes 14th

? Kansas University’s men’s golf team placed 14th at the Irish Creek Collegiate, which concluded Sunday at the Club at Irish Creek.

Connor Peck paced KU with a three-round total of 222 (9 over) to tie for 30th place. Other KU results: Chase Hanna and Ryley Haas, tied for 58th, 226; Ben Welle, tied for 65th, 228; and Logan Philley, tied for 77th, 231.

Kansas shot 899 as a team. Georgia State won with 859.

KU will travel to the Hawkeye Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Iowa City, Iowa.
