The Kansas University men’s club bowling team placed fifth out of 15 teams at the two-day Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge in Lawrence last weekend.
The tournament included one day of individual games and one day of Baker (alternating-bowler) games. The Jayhawks’ 11,675 combined pins put them only behind Midland (12,489 pins), Lindenwood (12,310), Wichita State (12,160) and Newman (11,980).
Ryan Miller was KU’s top finisher, taking sixth place with a 205.5 average in his six individual games. Nick Binetti was ninth with a 203 average, while Jessy Bauer’s 199 average earned him 14th place.
Dylan Burns (186.7 average) was the only other Jayhawk in the top 50, as he took 33rd.
