Kansas City, Kan. ? Kansas State rowers finished 1.4 seconds ahead of Kansas’ First Varsity Eight boat in the final race of the Sunflower Showdown on Saturday at Wyandotte County Lake, giving the Wildcats a 3-2 dual victory.
The Novice Eight and Second Varsity Eight boats won races for the Jayhawks, who will face Georgetown and Indiana on Saturday in Bloomington, Ind.
