KU softball claims pair of victories

? Maggie Hull drove in four runs, and Kelsey Kessler and Morgan Druhan combined on a shutout as Kansas University’s softball team defeated Indiana State, 8-0, on Friday in the Tiger Invitational.

The Jayhawks then defeated Tennessee-Chattanooga, 6-1, on a five-hitter by Alicia Pille.

Against Indiana State, Hull and Chanin Naudin each homered for the Jayhawks. Hull finished 2-for-4 and moved into sixth all-time on KU’s career RBI list with 107.

Maddie Stein went 3-for-3, and Alex Jones was 2-for-4, extending her hitting streak to six.
