Fifth-year Kansas University senior All-American Caroline Jarmoc was named one of 30 candidates to be considered for the Senior CLASS Award in collegiate volleyball, the committee announced Wednesday.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Div. Jarmoc is the first Jayhawk to be named to the Senior CLASS candidacy during the 2013-14 school year.

The Calgary, Alberta, native is one of four Big 12 volleyball players to appear on the top-30 list. Joining her from the conference are: Kristen Hahn (Iowa State), Sallie McLaurin (Oklahoma) and Bailey Webster (Texas).
