Kansas baseball falls

? Barrett Barnes slugged a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to propel Texas Tech’s baseball team to a 3-2 victory over Kansas University on Friday night in the series opener at Law Field.

KU fell to 20-22 overall and 9-10 in the Big 12. Texas Tech improved to 26-19 and 7-12.

The two teams will meet again at 5 p.m. Saturday. The game will be televised live on Fox College Sports Central (channel 141 on Knology Cable).
