St. Louis ? Despite a pair of three-hit games by junior Brian Heere, 19th-ranked Kansas University was swept in a baseball doubleheader by Saint Louis University, 12-8 and 8-5, on Saturday.
With the doubleheader sweep, KU’s first since Feb. 23, 2008, the Jayhawks fell to 11-8 overall, while the Billikens improved to 11-9.
Kansas jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the opening game of the twinbill, but Danny Brock’s three-run homer with two outs in the seventh gave the Billikens an 8-7 lead in the bottom of the seventh.
