Barbee’s career-low 64 paces KU men’s golf

? Nate Barbee’s career-best 64 on Monday helped the Kansas University men’s golf team rise six spots into a tie for ninth place entering the final round of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.

Barbee’s 64 tied for the third-lowest round at Kansas in the Big 12 era. Barbee, who has earned a top-20 finish in all four events this year, is tied for eighth entering the final round. Ryan Vermeer and Andrew Price hold the KU single-round record in the Big 12 era with rounds of 63.

UNLV (551) leads the event by a stroke over Washington State. Kansas is at 570.
