Kansas University’s football team fell out of both top 25 polls one day after losing its second straight game.
Kansas was ranked in both polls for the past seven weeks, but the 35-13 loss Saturday against Oklahoma ended the team’s run. The Jayhawks (5-2), who were ranked 21st in the USA Today coaches poll and 24th in the Associated Press poll last week, received votes in both polls but did not place in either top 25.
Other Big 12 Conference teams ranked in the polls this week: Texas (No. 3 AP, No. 3 coaches), Oklahoma State (13, 13), Oklahoma (22, 23).
