By J-W Staff Reports     Mar 21, 2008

Iowa edged Kansas University’s tennis team, 4-3, on Thursday in KU’s final nonconference dual at First Serve.

The loss was KU’s third straight.

Unlike in their losses last week at Colorado and Missouri, the Jayhawks opened Thursday’s dual by winning two of three doubles matches, establishing an early lead, but lost four of six singles matches.

After a weekend off, KU will get back into league play with a home dual at 11 a.m. Friday against Oklahoma.
