Jayhawks 14th in Austin

? The Kansas University women’s golf team was in a tie for 14th place Monday after the first day of the Betsy Rawls Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club.

Sophomore Emily Powers is currently tied for 11th place after firing a 77 during the opening round. Freshman Grace Thiry completed the day with a first-round score of 80, good enough to tie for 33rd.
