? Iowa State coach Greg McDermott knew all about Baylor’s ability to make runs.

That didn’t help him or the Cyclones stop a 22-2 Baylor spurt in the second half that propelled the Bears to a 74-67 victory Saturday night.

According to McDermott’s count, the Bears scored on 10 of their 15 possessions during the run, while his team committed turnovers on 10 of 15.

“I used three time-outs during that streak and still couldn’t stop it,” said McDermott, who got a career-high 33 points from Craig Brackins.
