KU dropped four of five games last weekend at a tourney in Palm Springs, Calif. After shutting out Cal State Fullerton, 4-0, the Jayhawks lost four in a row, including one-run losses to No. 3-ranked UCLA and UC-Santa Barbara.

Kansas (5-9) will face Stephen F. Austin and Northern Iowa today, Notre Dame and No. 17-ranked Nebraska on Saturday and host Tulsa on Sunday.

The Jayhawks’ first games at Arrocha Ballpark are scheduled next Wednesday against Missouri State.

Destiny Frankenstein continues to wield a torrid bat. The senior shortstop leads the Jayhawks with a .405 batting average, six home runs and 12 RBI.

Senior DH-pitcher Serena Settlemier is hitting .286 with five home runs and 12 RBI. Settlemier also has the best staff earned run average (1.55).
