Rains move KU-Baylor soccer match to Topeka

By J-W Staff Reports     Sep 23, 2005

Today’s heavy rain prompted Kansas University officials to move today’s soccer match with Baylor at Jayhawk Soccer Complex to the artificial turf at Hummer Park in Topeka. Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m.

Admission is free.

The match was originally scheduled to be played in Waco, Texas, but the threat posed by Hurricane Rita prompted the switch to Lawrence.
