SACRAMENTO ? Former Kansas University basketball center Greg Ostertag is headed back to Utah, where he spent his first 10 seasons in the NBA.
The 7-foot-2 center, who left the Utah Jazz as a free agent last summer, was reacquired Friday in a three-way trade with the Grizzlies and Kings, the Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported.
To retrieve Ostertag, who averaged a career-worst 1.6 points with the Sacramento Kings last season, the Jazz dealt three former first-round draft picks to Memphis: guards Kirk Snyder and Raul Lopez, and center Curtis Borchardt. The trade also reportedly sends guard Bobby Jackson to Memphis and guard Bonzi Wells to Sacramento.
