Morris places 14th at U.S. Indoor meet

Kansas University’s Andy Morris placed 14th in the heptathlon at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field championships on Saturday in Atlanta, Ga.

Morris scored 5,063 points.

Ryan Speers placed eighth in the shot put in 57-61/2.

In Lincoln, Neb., Kansas pole vaulter Jeremy Hull cleared 15-111/4, but failed to qualify for next wek’s NCAA championships.
