KU-Missouri bypassed by TV

By Staff     Oct 3, 2000

Saturday’s Kansas-Kansas State football game won’t be televised and neither will the Kansas-Missouri game on Oct. 14 in Columbia.

On Monday, three games were selected by the Big 12 office for the Oct. 14 slot Texas A&M at Baylor, Oklahoma at Kansas State and Nebraska at Texas Tech.

Texas A&M-Baylor will be shown on the Big 12 Network at 11:30 a.m.

However, ABC won’t decide until next Monday which of the two other games it wants for its 2:30 p.m. slot. The game that isn’t chosen will be shown at 6 p.m. on Fox Sports.

Kansas hasn’t appeared on TV yet this season. Under Big 12 rules, the Jayhawks are guaranteed at least one appearance.

Kickoff for the Kansas-Missouri game will be 1 p.m.
