Kansas University’s track office today announced the officials and referees for the 1991 Kansas Relays.
John Deardorff and Jerry Reichart will return as starters. Mark Schwarm returns as the recall starter, and John Brandt is serving as the starter for the decathlon and hepthlon competition again this year.
Wyandotte High track coach David Berthoff will serve as the high school boy’s referee, and Emporia High coach Bob Karr will referee the high school girls. Central State University coach Paul Parent will serve as the college men’s referee, and Jerry Hazard, Iowa University’s womens coach, will referee the college/university women’s division.
The Relays are scheduled for April 17-20, with the decathlon/heptathlon competition April 17-18.
