You know, Tom... I'm usually on your side about most things, but you really, really blew it this time. Due to one of those silly folks who take their very young children to KU games, I've been Rock Chalk Chanting since I was two. I referred to Memorial Stadium as "My stadium", and in the Winter, my favorite sound was, "Dar-neeeell Valentine (insert cheers here)". Being this far from Jayhawk country, pictures of Allen Field house give me homesickness pangs. That's how you bring up new Jayhawks.

AND... "even if the stands are empty, you don't give it away for free". I'll give you a break, because you hadn't hit the scene yet, but how long ago was it, really, that each student with a paid student ticket got to bring in a friend for free? And for no other reason than the seats were empty? 3 years? So, no matter your thoughts on babies at games, your "reasons" for charging for them don't even hold water.

sigh Oh, Tom... blown it in 30 seconds.

I think there is more harm than good to bring a baby to a football game. Even at the NWst game, it got chilly up in the stands and I saw a couple mothers wrapping up babys in blankets...but I am sure the babys are having a great time!

DJ, either take the space helmet off during the recording session, or sit a little closer to your mic. I can't hear a dang thing you are saying. Romary, on the other hand...
