Kansas coach Bill Self on what went wrong in 91-79 road loss to West Virginia

No. 17 West Virginia led wire-to-wire in its 91-79 victory over No. 23 Kansas Saturday afternoon in the WVU Coliseum.

The win gave the Mountaineers (13-5, 6-3) some much-needed revenge in the rematch. The Jayhawks (12-7, 6-5) earned a 79-65 win in this matchup at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 22.

WVU led by as many as 14 with 1:03 left to play, while having a pair of 20-point scorers in the win. Miles McBride led West Virginia with 29 points, while Taz Sherman finished with 23 points in the win.

Kansas will play host to Oklahoma State at 8 p.m. Monday.
