Kansas freshman Ochai Agbaji spoke to reporters after making his collegiate debut during a 77-68 win over TCU Wednesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.
Agbaji scored seven points in his first collegiate action, finishing off a pair of dunks for the Jayhawks. In fact, on his first possession, KU coach Bill Self called a lob for the freshman. Agbaji flushed a slam home on a pass from freshman Devon Dotson.
“It was really my teammates and the coaches that put me in the right position, they didn’t put any pressure on me, just believed in my athletic ability,” Agbaji said.
Kansas travels to Baylor at 3 p.m. Saturday.
