KU baseball drops Big 12 opener at Oklahoma

By Staff Report     Mar 22, 2019

After a nine-game win streak, the Kansas baseball team has now lost five consecutive contests.

The latest loss came at the hands of Oklahoma during the Big 12 opener, as KU dropped a 5-1 decision on the road. Dylan Ditzenberger drove in KU’s only run, as the offense couldn’t do enough to support a strong showing by right-hander Ryan Zeferjahn.

Both the Sooners and the Jayhawks each collected seven hits as a team.

Kansas (13-8) will take on Oklahoma at 6 p.m. Saturday L. Dale Mitchell Park.
