It only made sense that it was Katie McClure.

Just days after the senior forward was named National Player of the Week, as well as Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, McClure delivered again to keep the Jayhawks undefeated. With 65 seconds remaining, McClure netted the game-winning goal to give No. 18 Kansas a 2-1 win over No. 20 Memphis on Thursday night at Rock Chalk Park.

After facing an early 1-0 deficit, the Jayhawks evened things up in the 52nd minute on a penalty kick by Ceri Holland. With the win, the Kansas soccer squad improved to 3-0 to start the season. It marks the second year in a row that KU has started a season with three wins in as many matches. Memphis, meanwhile, fell to 2-1 following its first loss of the young season.

Kansas will host Florida Atlantic at 1 p.m. Sunday.
