Kansas freshman forward Mandi Duggan scored her second goal of the season Friday to lift the Jayhawks over Colorado, 1-0, at Rock Chalk Park.

Duggan beat a defender after a long ball down the field by senior midfielder Tayler Estrada in the 17th minute for KU (2-1).

CU (2-1) had seven shots on goal in the first half, plus one in the second, but a career-high eight saves by KU junior keeper Maddie Dobyns led to her second clean sheet of the season.

Next, KU will travel to Brookings, S.D., to face South Dakota State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
