The Kansas University football program added another walk-on to its 2015 recruiting class on Friday, when Blue Valley West offensive lineman Hunter Saulsbury announced via Twitter that he had committed to Kansas.

The 6-foot-4, 278-pound Saulsbury was drawing interest from Kansas, Kansas State and North Dakota State and also was one of the more talked about linemen at last summer’s Arkansas camp.

He joins five scholarship linemen and a couple other walk-ons in KU’s current recruiting class, with three mid-year junior-college transfers already signed and on campus (D’Andre Banks, Jayson Rhodes and Will Smith) and two other prospects (Aaron Garza and Jarek Smalley) still on the committed-but-not-yet-signed list.
