KU golfer tied for 10th place

? Kansas University’s Thanuttra Boonraksasat improved by three strokes from the first to second rounds and sits in a tie for 10th place after two rounds Monday of the Briar’s Creek Women’s Golf Invitational at The Golf Club of Briar’s Creek.

Boonraksasat shot 76-73-150 Monday.

Other KU scores: Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, tied for 24th, 76-75-151; Pornvipa Sakdee (81-74), Minami Levonowich, tied for 38th, 155; and Meghan Potee, tied for 76th, 85-79-164.

Kansas is eighth in the 17-team field with rounds of 308-301-609.

The tournament concludes with 18 holes today.
