KU baseball six get Big 12 honors

Kansas University junior Jake Marasco was named first-team Academic All-Big 12 for the third time in his career to highlight KU’s six selections, announced Tuesday by the conference.

Senior pitchers Jordan Jakubov and Matt Kohorst, junior infielder Jordan Dreiling and junior pitcher Tanner Poppe also were named to the 34-member first team. Senior outfielder Taylor Hart made the 26-member second team.

The Jayhawks take on rival Missouri at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Hoglund Ballpark.
