KU track and field wins Mizzou dual

? A strong performance by the Kansas University women’s track and field team propelled the combined men’s and women’s team to a 191-167 head-to-head victory at Missouri on Friday.

The women’s team, led by junior Andrea Geubelle, outscored the Tigers, 106-75. Geubelle won the long jump and triple jump and was a runner-up in the 200-meter dash. Her indoor marks in the long jump and triple jump place her first in the NCAA this season.

The KU men lost to MU, 92-85.

The combined track and field teams will compete next at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27 at the Jayhawk Invitational in Lawrence.
