KU remains at No. 3 in both polls

The Kansas men’s basketball team remained at No. 3 in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today coaches polls released Monday.

The Jayhawks (13-0) are the highest-ranked Big 12 team, followed by Missouri (ninth AP/eighth coaches), Texas (12th/12th), Texas A&M (16th/16th) and Kansas State (17th/17th). Baylor received votes in both polls.

Duke was the unanimous No. 1, picking up all 65 first-place votes in the AP poll and all 31 first-place votes in the coaches poll. Ohio State was second in both polls, while Syracuse and Pittsburgh rounded out the top five.
