Kansas University rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit, but ultimately settled for an 80-76 setback Sunday at Alabama.
Junior Carolyn Davis and sophomore Keena Mays scored 21 points apiece for the Jayhawks (7-1). Aishah Sutherland contributed 15 points and six rebounds, and Angel Goodrich had seven points, a career-best nine rebounds and 12 assists for KU.
Mays’ 21 points were a career high and came on 8-for-12 shooting (4-for-6 from three-point range) —off the bench.
Jasmine Robinson had a game-high 24 points for ’Bama (7-2).
KU will entertain Wisconsin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Allen Fieldhouse. The game will be televised on Metro Sports

Ladies fought hard in the second half which was good to see. Keena making four threes is impressive. Tania's 3 TO's in 9 minutes is simply unacceptable. Turnovers at bad times doomed the Jayhawks.
