Montecatini, Italy ? Carolyn Davis scored 25 points, and Kansas University’s women’s basketball team improved to 2-0 during its tour of Italy with a 90-76 victory over Roma Selezione on Sunday.
Davis hit 12 of 19 field-goal attempts and had seven rebounds.
Aishah Sutherland led KU with 16 rebounds and added 10 points.
The Jayhawks fell behind, 24-22, after the first quarter, but never trailed after taking a 42-41 lead just before the half.
Angel Goodrich also had a double-double: 12 points, 12 assists.
KU will travel to Venice today, then play its third of four games Wednesday in Lake Como.
