Second round washed at golf tournament

? Inclement weather conditions canceled second-round action of the Betsy Rawls Invitational at The University of Texas Golf Club Tuesday. The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes, instead of 54, with the final 18-hole round set to begin at 8:45 a.m. today.

The Jayhawks are currently tied for 14th place. Sophomore Emily Powers led KU in the opening round, firing a 77 to tie for 11th place.

New Mexico leads the competition with a score of 303.
