Kansas University guard Brandon Rush’s surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee will be Friday afternoon in Lawrence, KU coach Bill Self said Thursday. Self said the swelling in Rush’s knee had gone down and his leg was strong enough for the surgery to take place. Rush is expected to be out of action for four to six months.
