Norman, Okla. ? Omar Leary, who earned junior-college All-America honors last season, has signed to play basketball at Oklahoma, Sooners coach Jeff Capel said Monday.
The 5-foot-10 Leary averaged 14 points, 6.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game as a sophomore point guard for Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College. Leary shot 48.2 percent from the field, 43.9 percent from three-point range and 79.6 percent from the free-throw line last season.
