By Staff     Oct 27, 2006

Kyle Singler, ranked as the No. 4 prospect in the class of 2007 by rivals.com, officially announced his intent to play at Duke next season in a press conference held at his high school in Medford, Ore., Friday afternoon.

The 6-foot-9 small forward averaged 20.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game last season as a junior at South Medford HS, and selected the Blue Devils over both Kansas and Arizona.

KU’s lone commitment from the class of 2007 to date is Cole Aldrich, a 6-foot-10 center from Bloomington, Minn., who ranks 25th in the class on rivals.com
