Admission: Free. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Fans are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to local food pantries.

Doors open: 6 p.m.

Seating: General admission, first come, first seated.

The program: Music by KU pep band, video highlights, introduction of players and coaches and scrimmages by KU men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Promotions: Upon entry, all fans will receive a set of thunder sticks courtesy of People’s Bank. … Scion is sponsoring a contest in which one KU student will win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Las Vegas to watch the Jayhawks play Ball State and defending national champion Florida. The trip includes round-trip airfare, accommodations at the KU hotel and game tickets.
