KU cross country lands at-large bid

Kansas University’s men’s cross country team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships a week from today in Terre Haute, Ind. It will be KU’s first appearance in the championships since 1994.

Thirty-one teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of nine regions, for a total of 18 teams. Thirteen additional teams, including Kansas, were selected at-large.
