Future Jayhawk Micah Downs has taken his share of shots this year both on and off the court. Downs made headlines on Christmas Eve when a Seattle newspaper reported that he would enter the NBA draft. And earlier this week at the McDonald’s All-American game, Downs complained that he didn’t play enough.

The father of Kansas University signee Micah Downs has told the Journal-World that it is not a certainty that his son will enter the 2005 NBA Draft. In Friday’s The Seattle Times, Micah was quoted in saying that he would not be attending KU and that he was headed straight to the NBA. Downs signed a letter of intent with the Jayhawks last month.
