Bill Dent, who spent the last two years at California-Berkeley, has been named Director of Sports Medicine for the Kansas University athletic department.
Dent was the rehabilitation coordinator and athletic trainer for men’s basketball at Cal. Dent also has worked at Cal-Irvine and Purdue universities. At Irvine, he was athletic trainer for men’s basketball. Dent worked with football and baseball at Purdue.
Dent will oversee all aspects of sports medicine and also serve as the athletic trainer for men’s and women’s golf. He holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda (Calif.) University.
