KU men bowlers 5th, women finish 8th

? Kansas University’s men’s bowling club finished fifth and the women were eighth Sunday in the Mid-States Tournament.

The Jayhawks were paced by Nathan Elliott’s 199 average and Kelly Zapf with a 198 average. Both bowlers earned all-tournament honors.

Wichita State swept both men’s and women’s divisions, and West Texas A&M finished second in both.
