KU tennis sweeps doubles matches

? The Kansas University tennis team swept its doubles matches but struggled in singles during Saturday’s second day of the Hoosier Classic.

Kansas won five doubles matches Saturday, three against Iowa and two against Indiana. Courtney Steinbock and Paige Brown teamed for two wins, as did Christine Skoda and Emily Haylock. Kim Lorenz and Jamie Lang won the final doubles match.

In singles, Kansas didn’t fare as well. The Jayhawks were 1-5 against a tough Ohio State squad; KU’s only bright spot was Brown’s 6-2, 6-1 win against Jacki Leskover.
