Kansas University guards Jeff Boschee and Jeff Hawkins were held out of practice on Monday night.
Boschee, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior from Valley City, N.D., sprained his right ankle during drills on Sunday. X-rays taken Monday were negative and he’s listed as day to day.
Hawkins, a 5-11, 175-pound freshman guard who is slated to red-shirt this season, suffered a left knee strain Sunday after falling awkwardly during a drill at practice. He’ll have an MRI taken on the knee today.
The Jayhawks will continue workouts the next several weeks before opening exhibition play against the EA Sports All-Stars on Nov. 7 in Allen Fieldhouse.
